OK, so here is the first hat for the book club. I have a friend who will wear it because the hat I’m making for myself is a little more…adventurous. 🙂 You remember how it started out:

I really wanted to make a tutorial but I had no plan. Just sorta did it as I went with what I had.
Can I just say that I love ruffles, the dollar store and my hot glue gun.
OK, of to spray paint my hat purple 🙂 And I actually like this hat plain…might take all the stuff off and spray paint it a color I like, like cream.
