It’s been like, forever, since I showed you guys a room. (it’s cause we don’t have that many rooms lol)
(above) Here is one small part to our counters. Did you grow up being allowed to sit on your counters? We did, and I have the BEST memories of our family laughing and having the best ‘family time’ on counters.

So this next one is a fun one. Just crochet a small rectangle.
Add a button on one saide and the other braid some yarn, and tie it on the back side in a knot. Pictures:

That’s it!!!! I raided my coats in my closet for any extra big chunky buttons. You know, the extra ones that are never used. Score!

So here it is! You should do it! Think shirts, pillow cases, kitchen towels, tote bags, baby bibs, etc.
I wanted to do something to combated the pink in our house. Blue tones it is.
(* make sure to always have something under the fabric you’re stamping.* Yes, mine bleed through and I freaked out because I was afraid it would stain our white dining room table)

Day 12: Sunset
Travis took this picture. One of my favorites and one I’d like blown up and on a canvas. For some reason the picture is very emotional to me. Can’t put it into words why, but it has a lot to do with the two people walking right to you….
It was taken when it was amazingly cold outside and Trav was on his way to meet a friend for some HOT coffee. So glad he took the time to capture this.

Day 11: something blue
This is a picture of my first visit to ANY IKEA! *happy day!*
It was in Krakow, Poland- how perfect is that?!
I had no idea what to expect and was blown away by the amount of stuff they have. All beautiful, but a little overwhelming too for a ‘first timer’
This is also THE IKEA we will be furnishing most of our new home with in Poland.

I thought of this silly little teeny blog you’re reading now. How SUPER CRAZY EASY it is to compare and change what I write about based on others blogs.
Some have special font.
Some have their blog done by a professional. And it looks like it.
I have dreams and visions of what I would love this blog to look like…and how many comments/followers. It’s not there. But would it ever be ‘there’?! I have to ask myself what is my motivation for any changes in this blog? Why change it to look like someone else’s?
I fight this one single fight everyday. Silly huh. So why do I do I keep blogging?
Because I like you. Family and friends. I want to say hi and bounce a bit of my crazy thinking/questions of you.
